At Lucy & 80st, our commitment is to the “80th Standard” of quality and your absolute comfort. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.
1. Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must meet the following criteria:
- Timeframe: The item must be returned within 30 days from the date of delivery.
- Condition: The item must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition that you received it.
- Packaging: It must be in the original packaging with all tags and labels still attached.
- Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase (your Order Number) is required.
Non-Returnable Items: Gift cards, clearance items, or items marked as final sale cannot be returned or exchanged.
2. The Return Process
To initiate a return or exchange, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Email us at contact@lucy80st.com with your Order Number and the reason for the return/exchange.
- Receive Authorization: Our customer support team will review your request and provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and detailed instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting an RMA will not be accepted.
- Ship the Item: You must clearly write the RMA number on the outside of the package. Mail your return to the address provided in the authorization email.
3. Shipping Costs for Returns
- Defective/Incorrect Items: If the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., received a defective or incorrect item), Lucy & 80st will cover the return shipping costs.
- Buyer’s Remorse/Sizing Issues: If the return is due to a change of mind or incorrect sizing ordered by the customer, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
We highly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
4. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email notification regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.
- If Approved: Your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7-10 business days.
- Late or Missing Refunds: If you haven’t received a refund within the stated period, first check your bank account. Then contact your credit card company/bank. If you’ve done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at contact@lucy80st.com.
5. Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or incorrectly sized (if the item is available in stock).
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
6. Damaged or Faulty Goods
If your product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us immediately (within 48 hours of delivery) at contact@lucy80st.com with photographs of the defect and your Order Number. We will promptly arrange for a replacement or a full refund at our expense.
